10 Designers & Brands to Watch in 2020

Whether seasoned veterans or new kids on the block, these designers and brands are coming into 2020 with serious heat. If you want to stay ahead of the trend, these are the game players in luxury and streetwear fashion you need to keep an eye on this year! Trust me, they’ll be influencing the industry and you won’t want to miss out.

Luxury

Rich Mnisi

South African designer Rich Mnisi stole the spotlight in 2019 with his colorful collections he describes as “exploring the treasures of my home”. His designs are loud and attention grabbing yet in a way that is wearable every day. I can’t wait to see what Rich Mnisi has in store for F/W ’20!

AfterHomeWorkParis

The self-described “young, creative label” certainly comes off maturely established. Luxurious garments are juxtaposed with casual streetwear yet harmonized by the consistently deconstructed & layered silhouettes. This is the kind of brand where anyone can find a piece to love.

Amina Muaddi

The good sis Amina took 2019 by storm with her iconic sculpted heel worn by the likes of Riri & stolen by every brand you can imagine. She recently launched her Spring/Summer ’20 collection and I want every last piece!

Telfar

If you haven’t heard of Telfar Clemens you’re living under a rock. NYC has been on game but 2020 has international written all over it for the eponymous label. The popular Telfar ‘Shopping Bag’ has been given the “Brooklyn Birkin” moniker by The Cut.

PH5

The playful femininity of knitwear brand PH5 screams Spring/Summer ’20! The versatility of this brand will take you from the office to a rooftop soiree & can be worn so many different ways. I have my eye on a few pieces myself!

Streetwear

Endieu NYC

Twin sisters Chyanne and Chelsea made a splash last year with the launch of their brand Endieu NYC. They gave us vintage T’s, and Bronx branded crewnecks (as seen here)! However, the brand is taking a turn for the decade. Say goodbye to the pieces that put them on the map. There may be a few originals left though, hurry! Will Endieu go luxury? Only time will tell.

Tiér

The guys behind Tiér continue lacing the fly in their coziest gear. The bubble gum pink sweatsuit stole my heart! Considering NYC native Carmelo Anthony has hopped on the wagon, it won’t be long until Tiér is untouchable.

The Filthy Project

The Filthy Project seems to have something for everyone in the streetwear game from crewnecks, shorts and socks to tie-dye flannels. I love the consistency in their branding, the Filthy logo feels fresh with every new take.

Diet Starts Monday

I’m obsessed with the marketing behind DSM. The clever name and psychedelic logo tied together consistently with a sour lemon yellow is just *chef’s kiss*. Okay, but seriously the clothes are dope too. After their successful sneaker collab with DC, I’m excited to see what’s next!

Rip N Repair

Hailing from Koreatown, Los Angeles you can easily see Rip N Repair’s roots reflected in its aesthetic. My fave pieces from the brand are their Reworked Dodgers Cap & Private Property coaches jacket!
