Fashion Find: $20 Suede Shoes?? #LoveWins

What a beautiful moment in history, a change I couldn’t be happier to see: the legalization of same-sex marriage across the United States of America! Two of my closest friends, along with millions of others across the nation can freely marry whomever they choose! If that isn’t a cause for celebration then I don’t know what is!

How fitting that I took a trip to see the “infamous” love wall in the Lower East Side this week. I mean what kind of Fashion Blogger would I be if I hadn’t?

This Forever 21 T-shirt dress has been a staple in my wardrobe lately. It was only $15 and goes with everything in my closet! Some days I dress it down with sneakers and other days, like this one, I’ll dress it up a bit.

Because I stuck with neutral tones, I thought this thrifted bag would be the perfect unique touch the outfit needed. Sometimes, you don’t always need a pop of color, a unique accessory can liven up an otherwise simple look. Oh and can we bring back short, shoulder strap purses circa 2004 Mean Girls era? Thanks!

Something about these shoes just brightens my day. Maybe it’s because they are so comfortable, maybe I feel cool saying I actually own a pair of blue suede shoes (they are a very light shade of blue in person), or maybe because they were originally $120 and I got them for an entire Benjamin Franklin less. Yes, that’s right ladies & gentleman, another Urban Outfitters score.

I don’t know about you, but I only shop in Urban outfitters in the sale section, (Hello, $8 for one single hair tie? I think not.) but I can definitely get down with $20 mules. Especially when I was going to buy a very similar pair from Forever 21 for $45.

The one thing I love more than fashion is love itself. I support anyone who isn’t afraid to be themselves, and love freely! Whether you agree or not, this day will forever be marked down in history. #loveislove #lovewinsP.S This is perfect timing, right before #NYCpride!
