Since I’m home from college for the summer, I’ve started modeling again just as a hobby. There are a lot of pros and cons, but I’ve grown to love this dog-eat-dog industry. I was shooting for the Media Makeup Academy in NYC and had to do a lot of running around so I wanted to look professional and still feel comfortable.
It’s so hard to dress professionally when it’s hot outside, I just wanted to throw flip-flops on but these Old Navy sandals were the perfect balance between bootie and sandal. I found this bag at one of those boutiques in SOHO that all look the same and sell the same clothes lol. I needed something that would hold everything I would need for a photo shoot and still look polished.
I’ve accumulated a ridiculous amount of distressed jeans but I just cannot stop. These babies are from Urban Outfitters and fit so well, I got the dark wash too! In a failed attempt to keep cool, I paired the jeans with an H&M crop top and sleeve-less cardigan.
Minimal accessories are ideal for photo shoots, allowing me to change in and out of garments easily. This chunky necklace from Zara gives a tough vibe to an otherwise girly look.
